This costume was made for the June 2021 production of Revolt. She Said. Revolt Again by Alice Birch at NIDA (Directed by Heather Fairbairn). This costume was my first production make at NIDA and began my love for well fitted makes for women. It was made using a combination of draping and flat pattern making. I enjoyed the process of fitting and making a costume with beautiful fabrics and was amazed to see how a costume is brought to life by an actor and how it enhances character.
